Your Build Day
A Unique Collaborative Approach
Preparation in Advance
You'll fill out a form, so I can tailor your template for you
You'll receive a checklist of a few things to prepare/ gather
You'll buy your domain from Hosting Ireland for around 6 euro for the year. There'll be a guided video about how to do this. It will take you around 10 minutes and is not techy- it's just you making a purchase.
10am to 1pm: Words and Sections
We will all start with our individual template - each template will have similar sections but in a different order/ layout depending on how many therapies/ offers they have.
I'll guide the group through each section giving you suggestions about what to write.
You'll write rough bullet points directly into your website.
Then we'll have some quiet co-working time, where you'll work on your wording.
I'll go around supporting each person individually in a breakout room.
Lunch: 1pm to 2pm
Take a proper break. Touch grass!
2pm to 3pm: Brand
The fun part! You will choose your colours, fonts and layout. You will add your photos (or stock images if you don't have any of your own photos yet).
3pm to 4pm: Contact Form & Instagram
You will set up your contact form
You will embed your social media feed (optional)
4pm to 5pm: Domain, Email & Google
You will connect your domain
You will set up your professional email forwarding
You will create your Google Business Profile.
If any one gets stuck, I'll step in and sort it during the week.
5pm: Celebrate!

You have a website that looks and feels like you. There will be more to tweak/ finish but the bones of it will be built.
The domain connection can take up to 24 hours, so it'll be fully live by tomorrow.

Sunday 15th Nov 2026: 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, live on Zoom. Max 8 people.
You write your own website wording, guided by my prompts, and build it on a template. Choose your own colours, fonts and layout.
We connect your domain, set up your professional email forwarding and create your Google Business Profile (all guided, and I'll step in if you get stuck).

Questions!
Is one page really enough?
For most therapists starting out, yes. A clear one-page site covers who you are, what you offer, what it costs and how to get in touch, and that's what most visitors need. When you're ready for more, you can add those page at your own pace.
What if I don't get it finished on the day?
That's totally ok! I expect most people will get it 80% done.
This is why the week afterwards is built in. You get a live follow-up session on Friday 20th Nov ( 7pm to 8.30pm) and WhatsApp support until Sunday 22nd Nov.
I have an old website. Can I start fresh?
Yes. This will involve a domain transfer so that when someone types www.you.com, it now goes to your new website instead of your old website. I can do this at a cost of 100 euro extra.
If you are concerned about SEO from your old website, then it's probably not a good idea to transfer. We would need to have a chat.
Do I need to be techy?
You need basic computer skills. You need have a laptop and have familiarity with using it.
As this is a group, if you have difficulties with logging in/ opening windows on a computer, it would be too hard to be guided in a group environment and 1:1 would suit you better.
You do not need to know anything super techy or how to code or anything like that.
Overall, Google Sites is very simple and easy to use.
Do I need a laptop?
Yes! Google Sites is NOT editable on your phone. You'll need to be on a computer.
What do I need to do to prepare?
A photo of yourself, a photo of your therapy space, any testimonials, your logo (if you have one), your qualifications.
If you're missing anything, we'll use stock images and leave space to add things later.
Have a think about your business name and the domain you'd like www.mybusiness.ie.
Will I be on Page 1 of Google?
No. Ranking on Google takes time and depends on your area and competition. You'll be set up to be found with a Google Business Profile and on-page keywords. You'll have a solid foundation.
Are there any additional fees?
Your domain (www.business.ie) will cost ~€6 a year in year one. This increases to ~€45 in subsequent years. This is paid annualy to the domain provider. There are no monthly hosting fees as hosting is free with Google.
Who owns the website?
You do. 100%.
Is the website on Wordpress or Squarespace or Wix?
No. It's on Google Sites.
What are the limitations of Google Sites?

Cons of Google Sites
Limited Customisation: You won’t be able to control every design element or access the back-end code. This might seem restrictive, but it actually helps keep your site clean and mobile-friendly. When platforms offer too much flexibility, it’s easier to break layouts or end up with a website that looks messy on phones and tablets.
No Editable SEO Metadata: You can’t manually set SEO meta descriptions or tags. However, we will still do effective on-page SEO by using clear, descriptive page titles and headings and naming your images with relevant keywords before uploading. This means your site will show up on Google. I use Google Sites myself and have no issues being found online.
Keep in mind: platforms like Wix or Kajabi are heavily promoted because they offer referral commissions — Google doesn’t, so it’s less talked about. But that doesn’t make it any less useful.
What if I break something after the website is finished?
You can't really break it. Google Sites keeps a version history, so you can go back if you change something you regret.
Is there ongoing support?
No. You get a week of WhatsApp support for tech questions. After that, you can edit it yourself, or book another session with me for mentoring, tech support or another project.
Can I add booking, payments or a newsletter?
Yes, the world is your oyster after your website is live. Any amount of bells and whistles can be added.
You can simply add a button to your booking calendar, to sign up for your newsletter or to read your substack blog etc.
Who is this not suitable for?
This is not suited to:
Anyone who wants to hand everything over and never touch their website
Anyone who needs a large multi-page site straight away
Anyone selling lots of physical products (a shop platform like Shopify would suit you better).
Can I transfer my website to a different platform in the future?
Yes you can move platforms in future.
On the practical side, you can't automatically transfer the whole website to a different platform. It's just not possible. If you decide to move, you’ll need to rebuild the site on your new platform.
Will it be recorded?
No, but I'll send useful resources for afterwards.
The date doesn't suit me!
If there's demand, I'll record it as a self-study course. Let me know.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes! You'll be well able to do it.
Can't I just do this with AI?
You can, and I use it too. I use it to draft your words from what you tell me in the interview. Most AI websites look and sound generic People find it hard to know what to leave in or out. People get overwhelmed. People find it hard to connect their AI website to a domain. That's why working with a human is nice!
