Have you ever realised that you no longer see the world the way you used to?
That your entire perspective – the lens through which you see yourself, others, and life – has shifted? Maybe you’ve had a few of those moments over the years… Often prompted by something difficult, something that broke you open. A crisis. A loss. A deep realisation.
And somehow, on the other side, you weren’t the same person anymore.. That’s the nature of growth. That’s the nature of raising consciousness.
I believe so much of the work my clients do is exactly this:
Helping people to evolve into a new level of consciousness
Supporting them when they’re on the cusp of a major shift
Holding space as they re-orient and find their footing in a whole new worldview
The most structured explanation of raising consciousness I’ve come across is through the work of Ken Wilber – sometimes called “the Einstein of consciousness.”
His work maps the evolution of human awareness, weaving together philosophy, psychology, spirituality, and science.
He attempts to show how we grow – through stages, through worldviews, through inner shifts – from one level of consciousness to the next.
It’s not light reading – it’s dense, layered, and deeply complex. But for those of us doing inner work (and holding space for others to do the same), it’s incredibly illuminating.
One of the core takeaways is this: We all move through stages of development. And each stage builds on the one before it.
When we understand this, we begin to see that people around us – clients, loved ones, politicians, entire cultures – may be operating from different worldviews entirely. And that explains a lot.
Ken Wilber suggests the current centre of gravity in the world is at the Red level of development – reactive, egoic, power-driven.
Meanwhile, many of my clients – and likely you – are operating from at least Green: heart-led, inclusive, values-based, wanting to raise the collective.
That mismatch? That’s why so much of what’s happening in the world feels… off. Like we’re watching a different movie.
But here’s the empowering part: This awareness doesn’t mean we’re “better” – it means we’re responsible.
The work of healing, growing, and evolving internally is part of the collective movement toward a more conscious world. And I know many of us are here for exactly that.
Safe Space: We welcome people of all races, sexual orientations, gender expressions, abilities, religions and cultural backgrounds to our community. We are dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive space.
Neurodiversity: We are committed to supporting neurodiverse learners in accessing our educational content. We do this by presenting content in different mediums and offering a variety of options that cater to different needs in each course.
Disadvantaged Groups: We recognise the impact of disadvantage and discrimination on minority communities. We are open to and seeking opportunities to support disadvantaged groups to develop business, marketing or website skills.
A portion of Holistic Business HQ income goes to charities/ non-profits.
Currently:
Avaaz- a non-profit that promotes global activism on issues such as climate change, human rights, animal rights, corruption, poverty, and conflict.
Pariyatti- distributes reading material on the teachings of the Buddha
Vipassana Meditation Organisation- teaches 10-day silent meditation retreats on a donation basis
Gaza and Palestine Relief- Islamic Relief Ireland has been providing life-saving support in Gaza since 1994.
Myanmar Rohingya Campaign- Myanmar is facing a severe humanitarian crisis, with over 18 million people in urgent need of assistance and nearly a million displaced due to ongoing conflict and military action. The recent earthquake has further escalated these urgent needs.
