3) Done with You Process
I have created this unique approach because I have seen where holistic therapists get stuck with websites:
You don't feel ready enough. Maybe you don't have a logo, brand or photos. Maybe you are newly qualified and the details of your work are still evolving. (That's no problem. You'll be able to edit your website by yourself so as your business evolves, your website can too
It's too hard to explain what you do or write your about page, so how can you possibly explain it to a web designer (I speak your language! I'm into all things holistic, spiritual and wellness myself so no masks needed here
You never quite get around to it, it stays on the long finger because it feels like a big thing. That's valid as there are alot of parts- the words, photos, colours, tech, hosting, domain, email etc. That's why people chose to get support
Tech fears and overwhelm. Maybe you've tried to DIY it, but gave up eventually. I use the simplest platform ever- it's unbreakable and so simple to edit- I promise
You don't want to be dependent on a web designer. Everytime you want to make a change, extra costs arise, extra stress arises. That's why it's so important to me to empower you to edit your own website
So I decided to make things easier! See how it works below...

Your Build Day
A Unique Collaborative Approach
9am to 10am: Words
We start with a conversation about your practice. I ask about who you help, what you offer, what a session is like and what makes you different. You don't need to prepare anything polished. I'll capture what you say and use that as the basis to write the wording.
10am to 11am: Brand
We clarify your brand: your voice, your style, the feeling you want people to have when they land on your page. We choose your colours, look at your logo (or make a simple one in Canva if you don't have one yet). We'll decide on photos to add to your site (stock images or your own).
11am to 1pm: CoWorking
Me:
I work on your first draft of the words and sections
You:
Watch a training video and practice using Google Sites, so you're confident and empowered to edit your website going forward
Buy your domain (www.mybusiness.ie), with my guidance
Anything else that arises from our morning discussion eg. finding a photo of yourself, looking up what year you did your training courses, getting the logo of your associations etc.
You can do these in any order. If you get stuck, message me.
Lunch: 1pm to 2pm
Take a break
2pm to 4pm: Professional Online Presence
We meet again and go through the first draft of the words and sections together.
Me
I'll set up your Google Business Profile, so you show up on Google and Google Maps
Create your professional email signature
I'll connect your domain to your website
Set up your custom email address, forwarding to your Gmail
I'll create a link in your bio
You
You will refine the wording on your website by yourself. It needs to feel aligned and true to you. This is the part where it starts to feel like your website.
4pm to 5pm: Final Edits
We'll reconvene and close off any loose ends
I will show you how to collect and respond to Google reviews
5pm: Celebrate!
By 5pm, you have a website that looks and feels like you! (Note: The domain connection takes 24 hours so it will be fully live tomorrow).
1 Week of Support

Questions!
Is one page really enough?
For most therapists starting out, yes. A clear one-page site covers who you are, what you offer, what it costs and how to get in touch, and that's what most visitors need. When you're ready for more, we can add pages in a second session.
I have an old website. Can we start fresh?
Yes. I'll transfer your domain. If you like some aspects of your old site, we'll keep those. Otherwise, we'll jsut start fresh.
Do I need to be techy?
Not at all. I do the techy bits (domain connection, email, Google listing), and you learn how to edit your own words and photos. The platform is so simple that every single person I've worked remarks how easy it is.
Do I need a laptop?
Yes! Google Sites is NOT editable on your phone. You'll need to be on a computer.
I'm busy. Do I really need to give a whole day to this?
Yes. The schedule is above. Ofcourse if you need to be away from your screen at times, that's fine, but mostly you need to give your attention to this for the day.
If you want a completely hands-off approach, this is not the right fit for you. If you like to focus on something in a deep dive way, this approach will suit you.
What do I need to do to prepare?
A photo of yourself, a photo of your therapy space, any testimonials, your logo (if you have one), your qualifications and insurance details. If you're missing anything, we'll use stock images and leave space to add things later. Have a think about your business name and the domain you'd like www.mybusiness.ie. If there's a website you particularly like, we can discuss that on our call.
Who writes the words?
We do, together. I interview you, then write a first draft from your own words with the help of AI.
You then edit it until it sounds like you.
What if I don't like the first draft?
That's normal, and it's why we review it together in the afternoon. It's a starting point, and the point of learning to edit it yourself is that you can keep shaping it.
Will I be on Page 1 of Google?
No. Ranking on Google takes time and depends on your area and competition. You'll be set up to be found with a Google Business Profile and on-page keywords. You'll have a solid foundation.
Are there any additional fees?
Your domain (www.business.ie) will cost ~€6 a year in year one. This increases to ~€45 in subsequent years. This is paid annualy to the domain provider. There are no monthly hosting fees as hosting is free with Google.
Who owns the website?
You do. 100%.
Is the website on Wordpress or Squarespace or Wix?
No. It's on Google Sites.
What are the limitations of Google Sites?
Pros of Google Sites
Feels like editing a Word Document
It's impossible to "break" your website by accident
Instant undo button
Automatic saving
Tested by real beginners
Zero monthly hosting fees
No software updates needed
Hacker-resistant
Cons of Google Sites
Limited Customisation: You won’t be able to control every design element or access the back-end code. This might seem restrictive, but it actually helps keep your site clean and mobile-friendly. When platforms offer too much flexibility, it’s easier to break layouts or end up with a website that looks messy on phones and tablets.
No Editable SEO Metadata: You can’t manually set SEO meta descriptions or tags. However, we will still do effective on-page SEO by using clear, descriptive page titles and headings and naming your images with relevant keywords before uploading. This means your site will show up on Google. I use Google Sites myself and have no issues being found online.
Keep in mind: platforms like Wix or Kajabi are heavily promoted because they offer referral commissions — Google doesn’t, so it’s less talked about. But that doesn’t make it any less useful.
What if I break something after the website is finished?
You can't really break it. Google Sites keeps a version history, so you can go back if you change something you regret.
Is there ongoing support?
No. You get a week of WhatsApp support for tech questions. After that, you can edit it yourself, or book another session with me for mentoring, tech support or another project.
Is there ongoing support?
No. You get a week of WhatsApp support for tech questions. After that, you can edit it yourself, or book another session with me for mentoring, tech support or another project.
Can I add booking, payments or a newsletter?
Yes, the world is your oyster after your website is live. Any amount of bells and whistles can be added.
You can simply add a button to your booking calendar, to sign up for your newsletter or to read your substack blog etc.
Who is this not suitable for?
This is not suited to:
Anyone who wants to hand everything over and never touch their website
Anyone who needs a large multi-page site straight away
Anyone selling lots of physical products (a shop platform like Shopify would suit you better).
Can I transfer my website to a different platform in the future?
Yes you can move platforms in future.
On the practical side, you can't automatically transfer the whole website to a different platform. It's just not possible. If you decide to move, you’ll need to rebuild the site on your new platform.
What if I need to reschedule?
I understand that life happens. Please tell me as soon as you know.
When you book a Build Day, I block out the whole day for you and turn other clients away. If I get short notice, I can't fill that day.
Rescheduling Policy:
7 or more days' notice: Free. We'll find a new date that suits us both.
Less than 7 days' notice: A €100 rebooking fee applies before we confirm your new date.
Less than 48 hours notice: A €150 rebooking fee applies before we confirm your new date.
What is your cancellation policy?
If your plan to create this website with me changes, please tell me as soon as you know.
Once you've booked, I block out your Build Day and turn other clients away, so I can't refill short-notice cancellations.
14 or more days' notice: Full refund.
7 to 13 days' notice: 50% refund.
Less than 7 days' notice: No refund.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes! You'll be well able to do it.
Can't I just do this with AI?
You can, and I use it too. I use it to draft your words from what you tell me in the interview. Most AI websites look and sound generic People find it hard to know what to leave in or out. People get overwhelmed. People find it hard to connect their AI website to a domain. That's why working with a human is nice!
